The Hendrick Hudson Fish and Game Club is a private, not for profit organization, founded in 1925 for the purpose of conserving our natural resources and the promotion of shooting sports.
The Club is located on 100 acres at the foot of the Berkshire Mountains in the town of Poestenkill, New York. Few clubs can rival our facilities or spectacular scenery.
The club consists of a group of individuals dedicated not only to the shooting sports, but who are also greatly involved with wildlife conservation, hunter education and training, and safety education.
The club also hosts a variety of competitions for skeet, trap, and rifle, including: the Empire State Games, the NYS Police Olympics, the U.S. Olympic Team tryouts, and the NYS Junior Olympic Tryouts.
As you may imagine, Hendrick Hudson is a multifaceted club, which offers much excitement to sportsmen of all disciplines – a club which we believe is the best in eastern New York and western New England.
Hendrick Hudson offers the following facilities: three American and one International Skeet fields; one American and one International (wobble) trap fields; a 100 yard rifle range; and archery and pistol ranges. In addition, we boast a 30 acre Sporting Clays course, which offers an assortment of clay targets presented in various scenarios.
Skeet, Trap and Sporting Clays are open to the general public.
